We were advocating for gay marriage from our beginning and coordinating LGBTQ weddings before it was legalized. We believe in every Couple's right to a meaningful wedding day where they can be present and celebrate their love. It is important on a personal and professional level. We have LGBTQ+ members of our team, as well as members of our families, and some of our dearest friends.”

Services: Juniper Sisters Events is a queer-led, sustainability-focused wedding coordination + design collective based in Louisville KY and Nashville TN, serving anywhere that love takes us. We specialize in Full and Partial Wedding Coordination where we work together with our couples to create their ideal wedding day from top to bottom, but we also offer Budget Consultations and Day of Management for the more DIY couples.

Red River Gorge Weddings
“Inclusive and Stress-free Weddings in The Red River Gorge”

Services: Our team offers elopement and destination style weddings/ceremonies for couples wishing to access the most iconic locations and vistas in and around the Red River Gorge KY. We are permitted by the USFS and Kentucky State Parks to access The Daniel Boone National Forest, The Natural Bridge State Park, and have access to over 500 acres of private land boasting waterfalls, huge overlooks, cabins for up to 50 guests, and more! Our packages include 1-on-1 consulting/planning, our in house professional photographer, an inclusive officiant, wedding day assistant/built in witness for those true elopements, custom day-of itinerary, access to our preferred vendors list, and our add-on option include locally farmed florals for bouquets/boutonnière/table scapes, desserts such as pastries and chocolates from the one and only Chocolat Inn & Cafe, pop-up wedding decor like our round and triangular wedding altars and vintage wooden chairs for a more luxury feel, and many many more options! We have half a dozen ceremony sites that are wheelchair and mobility aid accessible because we want everyone to enjoy the great outdoors on their loved one's big day.
Member Statement: “We firmly believe that the beauty of Appalachia has been make inaccessible to many folks due to the stigma that surrounds these rural communities, understandably so by making people in the LGBTQIA+ feel unsafe to explore and enjoy the great outdoors in "our neck of the woods". We want our couples to feel seen, safe, and appreciated as they celebrate their love and newest adventure of marriage while they connect with these stunningly beautiful places. We know all the businesses in the area that support and respect people in the LGBTQIA+ community, and wish to connect folks not just with our business, but with our greater region so they can feel safe to come and recreate with those they love, and find resources to support them while they stay in the Red River Gorge for their lifetime.”
