Wes Fest 2014

About

Wes Fest was a large-scale theme party & fundraiser, which celebrated the films of Wes Anderson including Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Moonrise Kingdom. Anderson’s aesthetic is expressed through bands playing the music featured on the soundtracks of each film, art installations and decor, theatrical performances, as well as costumes.

Wes Fest took place on March 8, 2014 to a sold out crowd at The New Vintage in Louisville, KY. The bands that played included Quiet Hollers, The Fervor, Hinckley Cold Storage (feat. The Pass) and introducing Jolly Hammurabi with special guests Dane Waters (of Softcheque), Jason D’Mello (Jenna Dean), Billy Petot (of Whistle Peak), and singer-songwriter Nick Peay.
